Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at Sophie Hotel in Hanoi. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it easy to explore. However, the room left much to be desired with strong unpleasant smells, and cleanliness was a big issue. Overall, I would say the value didn't match the expectations based on the reviews I had read. 😕
During my stay at Sophie Hotel in Hanoi, I experienced a mix of highs and lows. On one hand, the location was fantastic, nestled in an alley close to amazing food spots. On the other hand, I found the room I stayed in to be a bit on the shabby side; it could definitely use some maintenance. Overall, my stay was decent, but it certainly left room for improvement.
I recently stayed at Sophie Hotel in Hanoi for four nights, and while the location near St. Joseph's Cathedral was superb, my experience was disappointing overall. The room had an unpleasant odor, with uncleaned areas like the fridge and a neglected bathroom. It made for an uncomfortable stay despite the relatively clean sheets.
I had a pretty mixed experience at Sophie Hotel in Hanoi. The location was definitely a standout, being so close to the Cathedral and in the heart of the Old Quarter. However, the room left a lot to be desired—there were cleanliness issues and a generally outdated feel. While the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the noise from the busy streets made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
My stay at Sophie Hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, just next to the cathedral, which made exploring the old quarter effortless. However, I faced issues with the shower pressure and found that my room wasn't cleaned daily, which was unexpected. Overall, a solid experience for a decent price, especially given the warm hospitality I received.
